Google Fax To Email

Google Fax to Email Made Easy
When people think of sending a fax, most immediately think of traditional fax machines. However, they are no longer the only way to send a fax.
You can now save yourself time and money by using Google fax to email. All you need is a free Gmail account and an online fax company.
We will show you that sending a fax through the internet is so easy, you will wonder why you haven’t been doing it that way the whole time.
Step 1. The first thing you need to do is setup a free Gmail account, which is provided by Google. To do so, visit mail.google.com and click the link that says “Create an account.”
You will have to provide your information and then your account will be set up. One of your first emails will require you to verify your account.
You can do so either by using your cell phone or one of your other email accounts.
Step 2. Once you have your Gmail account set up, your next step is to choose an online fax company. You should plan to spend anywhere from $6 to $20 per month on this service, depending on how often you plan to use it.
A popular company is RingCentral, which offers a 30-day free trial so that you can give their services a test run before you purchase them.
Step 3. Step three is part of setting up your online fax service. Remember when setting up this fax account to include your new Gmail email account so that you can both send and receive faxes through your Google email address.
Step 4. The next step in using Google fax to email is to compose your email. When you pull up your Gmail account, you should click the “Compose Mail” button on the left side of the screen.
When the message screen loads, you can begin typing your message.
Step 5. Once you type your message and check it for spelling and grammar errors, you can attach any documents you want to fax using the “Attach a file” link.
Both the attachments and the actual message will be faxed to the desired number.
Once your message is completed and all attachments have been uploaded, you should enter the recipient information. It will go in the uppermost text box that says “To.”
Instead of entering an email, you will enter the fax number of the company to which you are sending the information. Be sure to add your fax company’s extension after you enter the fax number.
It will look like this: 2062002488@rcfax.com
Step 6. Your last step is to hit “Send.” You have just sent your first Google fax to email.
See how easy that was?
We trust that you will use this cost-effective, time-saving method of sending faxes in the future. Given this economy, I know you understand the importance of saving a dollar to use elsewhere.
